ABOUT
MISSION
Dental Health for Arlington was established to provide preventive and pain relieving services to low income residents and to educate children about good oral hygiene habits.

OUR HISTORY

Dental Health for Arlington was founded in 1993 as a result of a United Way survey which identified dental care of disadvantaged families as one of the top four needs in the Arlington area. The DHA Clinic was established to provide oral health care. A pilot Preventive Program was started in 1994 in two elementary schools. This program was designed to stop the rampant decay and oral health problems of low-income children in our community. Today, this serves twenty-four low-income Arlington and Mansfield schools.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Over $4.3 million worth of dental care has been provide to our community thanks to volunteer services of 250 dentists, assistants, dental hygienists and community volunteers. Dental Health for Arlington also serves the community by participating in health fairs special events during Dental Health month, the Junior League of Arlington's Bargain Barn and numerous other community outreach programs.
